Leeds Castle Leeds Castle is a very nice castle built by Robert de Crêvecoeur at the XI century. In 1280, Edward I transformed the castle and gave it to his wife Eleonor de Castilla. In 1927, Lady Bailly restored the castle. Now, we say this castle is the most beautiful in England |

The Maze |
We visited the castle and
its park in which there was a maze. It was very funny. Ath the end of the maze, there was
a very nice grotto. After we left by bus ... Emmanuelle Ughetto, 4ème Frison Roche I enjoyed myself there : first, we had our picnics, then we bought some sweets and we played football with five English men ! |
Around 4.00 pm, in the afternoon we went to Dover Castle. We watched a very interesting video about its history (and we Mrs Maret we drew the castle).

The Cathedral of Canterbury
|
The tomb of the Black Prince is in Trinity Chapel. I
think that this site is very beautiful and interesting. Later, we went to listen and see the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer. It was funny ! Emmanuelle Jaillard, 4ème Frison Roche |

We
left at ten o'clock in the morning. We said good bye to our English families. We drove to Dover and crossed the Channel with a shuttle. We took the train at 4.00 pm in the afternoon. At about 7 we had sandwiches on the train. We got back in Avignon at 8.55 at night. It was great to see our parents at the station but we would have liked to stay in England.
